Hello from Kyiv. I shoot fashion models and portraits as a job but photography and videography is also my hobby. I am a Sony shooter owning A9, A7 III and RX10 MK4 and many Sony lenses. I bought this lens not long ago and is mu first third party lens. In the real world without pixel peaking and a little help from post editing you not can notice any difference between the Tamron and Sony. Tamron has made an excellent job with this their first native Sony lens. There is rumour of a 70-200mm F2.8 and a 150-600mm from Tamron in the near future for Sony E F . My friend who works in the camera shop I use in Kyiv also told me that unofficially Sony owns 50% of Tanron. How true this is I do not know but I very wait for the 2 new lenses to be announced and especially if they are as good as the 28mm-75mm. Great review by the way.
Very thorough review! I really appreciate that!
The GM is a great lens. The lens hood on the GM is the biggest downfall and expensive to replace.
Amazing
My g m 24 -70 isnt noticeably sharper and much heavier

Seems like a great zoom. I’d prefer the 24 versus the 28 but both pretty good
Corners. Expected
