Hi guys! Kieran Wright Photography here again with another lens review. Today i’m reviewing the 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro lens made by sigma (for canon EF). It’s a budget telephoto lens which is jack of all trades but master of none. Still, it has impressed me enough to buy it and use it too! I’ve included a set of photos I’ve taken with the lens at the end of the review 🙂 Enjoy!

Very nice review! The video footage is quite blurry because of no IS, how do you achieve sharp images especially at long focal lengths? Do you think this is a good Tele for Sony a55 (APS C sensor with IS in Body)?
Very nice moon shots! Did you use any extender to get so close? It looks sharp too!
How close to an object to you need to be for the macro option?
ah thanks for the video. It was helpful. Two questions. It is a full frame lens? Also I was thinking about buying the Sony A7. Also using the Sigma MC11 Sigma EF to Sony E mount lens adapter. Do you think this lens would work with the Sigma MC-11 lens adapter? Thanks.
which one is better tamron 70-300mm di ld or sigma 70-300 dg macro … pls reply asap
sir
which lens is good sigma or tamron for canon ,70-300mm
hi, I want to ask, lets say Im using this with A6000 with a manual adapter, which means no electrical contact. Does it affect the normal/macro mode ? is that switch electric or just a lock between zoom range?
