Have you ever seen a copy of this lens that is sealed? The one I got has glass across the face. I’m happy about that as it keeps crap out of there which would be a nightmare to clean. Anyway my copy is razor sharp and in fact I think it’s clarity beats some canon L lenses. For the money I personally don’t think it can be beat. Samyang are another brand that take stunning pictures at a good price but they’re still twice the cost of the oshiro. I really believe these are made by Venus optics and rebranded to sell more copies at a cheaper price. Venus tells me these are counterfeit which makes me laugh when a chinese manufacturer gripes about this considering they kill dozens of people a year with their billions of dollars worth of knockoffs! I don’t believe though that this is a knockoff with such high build quality and razor sharp images. I’m curious though why I’ve got the only copy I’ve ever seen that’s sealed at the front. To anyone who likes macro and also doesn’t mind fully manual I would highly recommend getting this lens. It’ll last you a lifetime.

Is it a sharp lens? Can I use it with Nikon D7200?

I have been using this lens for about 5 months now. It’s very sharp, I took many amazing images with this lens on my sony mirrorless. Difficulties I found with this lens is it’s quite difficult if I want to take some photos for focus-stacking, because the magnification will be slightly increase or decrease when I change the focus point and I need to use a ring flash in many occasion.

Can I use this on a Nikon d3400? And what mount do I need?
