Fuji 55mm f/1.8 lens review (M42 Screw Mount)

I take a look at the Fuji 55mm f/1.8 m42 screw mount lens and adapt it to my Fuji X-T1 and Panasonic G80. I’ll give you my opinion and thoughts about this vintage lens and if it’s worth purchasing one.

Thanks for this post Howie!!!! I received this exact lens from a friend who happens to work a local thrift consignment store. He said he didn’t want it because it looked old and he didn’t know what to do with it. Glad I found your review because you showed me the type of screw mount adapter too get. I shoot with Panasonic GH4 and based on your grand test video shots this vintage lens look supa-dupa-cali-fragi-listic-expi-ali-docious!!!!!!!!!! Great image quality and the bokeh looks a movie lens.
